Sepehr System

 BSI has taken an important sep towards modern banking by setting up an online or real Time system in the year 2000, with the objective of offering even better services to its clients. This system is called the Sepehr System, the main objective of which is to increase the speed of banking operations.

There are currently some 500 branches offering Sepehr services and BSI plans to enable all its existing branches to offer this system. The above services include Sepehr Accounts and the Sepehr Card (which can be used in ATM machines).

By opening a Sepehr account, one can take advantages of the following services:

• Depositing or withdrawing from accounts without a need to be present at the branch where the account is held

• Accessing account information 24 and 7 days per week

• Ordering bank statements

At the moment, BSI is equipped with over 200 ATM machines almost 400 pin pad machines and has offered more than 40,000 Sepehr cards. However, BSI plans to increase the number machines by 250 per year, every year for the next 4 years. In addition, the Bank aims to install 2000 POS machines every year for the next four years. Finally, the Banks plans for offering e-banking or home banking will be made possible through the Sepehr System.
