International Banking

Since 1961, when the first branch of BSI was established in Hamburg, Germany, we worked hard on expanding the range and geographical coverage of our services, providing our customers with full support in a globalizing economic environment.

Services include letters of credit, guarantees, forex saving and current accounts as well as various aspects of conventional and correspondent banking. To facilitate international banking for customers with business interests in different parts of the world, BSI expanded relations with correspondent banks in Europe, the Persian Gulf and the Far East.

Today, BSI owns and operates the largest network of foreign branches among all Iranian banks. BSI has now 20 branches and holds strategic investments in two independent banks; Bank Saderat Tashkent in Uzbekistan, Bank Saderat plc in London, in addition to two joint venture banks Future Bank in Bahrain and Arian Bank in Afghanistan.
